Biography:
Chakib Zidi is a Tunisian artist based in Malta, he trained in both Ballet and contemporary dance in the National ballet of Tunisia for 15 years. In 2009, he joined the National Ballet of Tunis as a rehearsal director and choreographer for 3 years, in 2011 he joined Studios Ikaas`s Dance company where he starts teaching and choreographing for the company for 5 years. He worked worked as a Dance Instructor and lecturer at the university of ``High Institute for Dramatic Art of Tunis`` in Tunisia. His work has been presented in various countries.
He was also commissioned by Koppin and Valletta capital city of culture 2018 to create a dance performance on the theme of migration, Borders, and women rights.
