Zipties are a punk rock band based in Calgary Alberta, Canada. It all started out in 2018 with five friends that wanted to have some fun, a few drinkypoos, lots of laughs and play a bit of music too! Who are Zipties you ask? Lead vocals are handled by the one and only Misty Bangers. Guitar duties are shared by the incredible Zippy D and the amazing Chris The Baker. On Bass we have the infamous, Jimmy Wanker. And on drums, ripping those beats is Kehoe. Zippy D, Chris The Baker, and Jimmy Wanker all contribute vocals as well. What makes Zipties and their sound so unique is that you have five people, with their own influences and styles, who all contribute to the writing and creation of the music.
