House of Music Hungary opened its gates in January 2022, offering for people of all ages a personal connection to the world of sound in an environment that redefines the existing concept of cultural spaces. This is the home of musical adventures, with music–related activities in a variety of different formats on the building’s three separate floors. Our most important goal is to preserve, present and develop all the treasures of the Hungarian and international music scene, ranging from traditional and classical genres all the way to contemporary jazz, electronic, or pop/rock. We use entertainment to spread new knowledge, creating a melting pot and meeting point for all forms of music. The House’s special programs provide an exciting mixture of functions, merging the features of a concert venue, a museum and a school, always emphasizing the importance of interaction and unity, instead of separation.
