Nakili Sessions is a platform that celebrates and values timeless music. The word "Nakili" in Swahili means " to copy/ to transcribe, or to reproduce," which represents our belief that we are a part of history and contribute to its creation alongside the people we involve in our events. We hold weekly events at 'The Beer District' in Westlands, where we invite singer-songwriters from Kenya and eventually East Africa to perform intimate sessions in front of a like-minded audience who shares our passion for great artistry in songwriting. Our focus is on music and art that positively transform and reflect our culture. Our live recording starts at 6pm and ends at 8pm, featuring live performances from guest artists hosted by Mutoriah, an Afro-ElectroPop artist based in Nairobi, Kenya.
