I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at the University of North Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health, where I’m an affiliated faculty with the Institute of Healthy Aging. I’m also a data analytics consultant, specializing in health-outcomes and healthcare data.
I began my research career with a focus in healthy aging, physical and cognitive function, and quality of life. I remain highly involved in research related to these pursuits, which only grow more critical as the population ages.
I am equally passionate about data analytics and the power of translating raw data into actionable information. Specifically, I’m interested in mining non-health data for insights that improve population health.
