Dr. Shane Purcell, MD is a family medicine physician in Anderson, SC. He practices at Direct Access along with his co-founding family physician Dr. Amy Cianciolo, MD. His practice has used the direct primary care (DPC) model since 2015 to connect directly with patients without the interruptions of third party payers. This DPC model has allowed Dr. Purcell to return to his oath, mission and passion of “patient first” medical care. He is a founding member of the DPC Alliance and former Advisory Committee member for the Alliance.
