The Centre for Research in Occupational Safety and Health (CROSH) was established by Laurentian University to provide a formalized structure for industry, safe workplace associations, labour groups, government organizations and researchers to share workplace injury and disease problems and solutions. Mission Statement Because we envision a northern Ontario where workplaces join together to ensure that every worker gets home safe and healthy everyday, we will be an active agent for discovery and innovation to solve the most relevant and pressing problems facing northern industries – such as mining, natural resources and health care – so that they can eliminate occupational injury and disease from their workplaces.
