Steve Visscher is a journalist, news presenter, voice-over guy and audio producer based in Melbourne. With a passion for news radio, he ventured into the business in 2008 specialising in the aviation & defence sectors, later joining the Australian Independent Radio News team in 2017 as a news reporter & presenter. Steve produces & co-hosts Australia’s best known podcast in it’s genre, Plane Crazy Down Under, and is a supervising producer for a wide range of other online content for various clients across business & defence. Steve also likes things that move, and is a big fan of basketball. He is a qualified locomotive driver, holds pilots licences in Australia and the USA, and is an accredited basketball referee.
