The Little French Owl was inspired as Sarah Michielsen wanted to create a welcoming place where her toddler daughter could take ownership of speaking French. Today she has extended the experience to offer other parents the same opportunity to explore a new language with their children. Sarah creates bilingual sing-a-long classes for caregivers and their children which have resonated within community centers, EarlyOn and The Toronto Public Library. The Little French Owl is now “spreading its wings” and expanding into a virtual learning experience! Hosts 'Madame Musique' and 'Brico Beatrice' team up bringing music, puppets and crafts in a YouTube Show and supplemental teaching platforms that provide fun, accessible learning for all. Sarah will also be hosting lives and parent podcasts with advice and tips on raising bilingual kiddos.
