Founded in 2014, CATCH Global Foundation (CATCH) is a nonprofit organization with the mission to empower school communities to cultivate Whole Child wellness as a lever for social equity. Whole Child wellness embraces the vision that health education not only improves health, it improves education. Providing students’ with the tools to develop healthy habits mentally, emotionally and physically their academic performance strengthens. CATCH provides professional development through in-person and virtual trainings to equip educators, public health professionals, after-school personnel, nonprofits, and community members with the tools needed to implement and sustain CATCH programs and develop leadership skills. Communities come under the CATCH umbrella in many ways. We have issue-specific programs that are available at no cost thanks to generous national sponsors.
