With the presence of the moon And aligning of the stars, We caressed each others souls from the very start We made love not war In a world full of fear We learnt how to trust Gracefully with dignity We showed the world our hearts We made love not war Standing side by side So fragile, the thread Invisible to see We became one For everyone to see We made love not war Together, they wowed audiences, making them laugh and cry with joy, the beauty that they created together, the soul connection that they had, was undeniable and seen and felt by all who experienced their music. They had amazing plans to travel both here in Australia, and overseas, when, tragically, those dreams were dashed by the sudden death of Retaw on August 12, 2017. Since the day that they met, they became instant friends and musical collaborators, playing many different styles, Jazz, Blues, Irish music, Heather's originals, playing in bands together and as a duo and sometimes busking.
