Heddy’s Revenge are an indie rock band from Newcastle Australia. Their fast-paced sound is influenced by pop punk, grunge and Australian pub rock. The band’s original songs feature catchy melodies, guitar hooks and relentless drumming. Frontwoman Nadia Waugh has a unique voice that modulates between ferocity and sweetness. Lyrically, the songs capture relatable emotional experiences, often told through fictional and semi-autobiographical narratives. The members of Heddy’s Revenge are longtime friends, all of whom have a variety of musical expertise. The band self-produced and released their single and music video, New Line, in October 2021. It was well received by the Newcastle community. One version of the video shared online has clocked up over 18,000 views. Since then, the band have continued their DIY production efforts to include the single Who’s Sleeping? and upcoming single Beating Heart.
