The Small Biz Matters radio show has been broadcasting since 2014 on Triple H 100.1FM (and later podcast through various channels) and is all about advocating for small business. After my stint in Canberra, its host Alexi Boyd rebooted in in October 2023 and is back! The Ombudsman, Hon. Bruce Billson was the opening guest and since then CEOs of industry groups, economists, journalists, business leaders, bureaucrats and of course, politicians have all joined us at the broadcast desk. The program’s focus has shifted from “how to” run a business to People, Policy, Purpose. The aim? To take Alexi's experiences at COSBOA and encourage small businesses, their leaders, and advisors to be more engaged with government decision making, have their voices heard and improve policy design.
