Mourning, Thy Truth is a four-piece Modern Metal band hailing from Hong Kong, that formed in Summer of 2022. They broke into the local music scene by combining various genres into their music, including Djent, J-Rock, Electronic, Eastern & Western Opera etc. Their first song, “Die Young Like A Hero”, a blend of Djent, J-rock and Western Operatic, have helped them won three awards in 2022, including “First Place - Hong Kong Youth Band Competition 2022 - Open Section”, “First Place & Best Song - Tuen Mun Beach Festival 2022”. They also collaborated with talented local artists in making their animated music video, which garnered very positive feedback from their fans. Three singles have been released in 2023. Die Young Like A Hero - A blend of djent music and Western Operatic, as mentioned above; Fight To Nothing - metalcore with a modern twist; and Live to Die - a J-rock / J-pop sound for different taste.
