These recordings have been created by members of Benton Mennonite Church in Goshen Indiana with some help from a few friends. To continue our tradition of four part singing, John and Lyn Buschert and many others created these recordings in order to be able to continue that tradition even while our services are on Zoom. We put them here in the hope that others may also be able to use them. Most of these were made by sending out a starting version of each song to many people. They listen to it in headphones while recording themselves singing along with it. Then they send their recordings back and we mix them all together into the final version. Since everyone was listening to the same starting version, it stays synchronized. When we play these during our worship service, everyone can sing along and it feels very much like our usual congregational singing.
