Hi, I'm Samantha Newton, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2014, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and this channel is for therapists who feel unprepared, overwhelmed, or stuck in imposter syndrome after graduation.
Grad school teaches theory, diagnosis, and treatment models — but not always how to actually run sessions, build confidence, manage documentation, set boundaries, or sustain yourself in this field.
This space is for new and early-career therapists (and those who still feel new) who want practical clinical skills, real-world insight, and honest conversations about the parts of therapy no one really prepares you for.
