Atlas & Beyond is a project Henk started in 2015 and completed in December of 2024 , with only one goal: to bring alive his songs from his time in the Dutch (Symphonic) Rock Band Atlas (1978-1981) and his songs he made after that period until 2000. The songs are varied from Folk to Heavy metal, from Singer-songwriter to symphonic. From ballad to rhapsody. It eventually resulted in an album of 34 songs called Atlas, The Lost Concert. This Album is available on almost every streaming platform and on YouTube. Special thanks to - Gert Holstege for his inspiring advice and enthusiasm - Idan Altman my mixing and mastering teacher for his support during the whole process and the production of the final Album. Also thanks to two ex-Atlas members: - André Power, who introduced me to the world of digital recording and enthusiastically coached me during the project - Roelof Meijer, together with André and Gert, my biggest fan.
