Cowie is a Cape Town singer songwriter and live looping artist, blending elements of roots rock, acoustic soul and indie folk. His music invites people into a space where things feel real again and where the connection between artist and audience matters more than anything else. Cowie builds his songs live, layering vocals, guitar, synths and percussion, in real time. He leaves room for imperfections and emotion, giving his shows an intimate, atmospheric feel that draws people in. His lyrics explore balance, love, self awareness and the quiet moments that shape who we become. Cowie has shared stages across South Africa with his previous band, Don't Poke The Bear. The loss of his bandmate Adrian, he took time to reflect and reset. This solo project is the result. New music coming soon.
