THE YELLOW is a unit formed by Guitar/Vocalist Yoshiaki Kuriyama and Didgeridoo/Composer Mabsoh. Kuriyama draws influences from genres like POP, ROCK, and BLUES, showcasing emotional guitar playing and melodies with his flexibility and intuition. Mabsoh, known for playing the distinctive low-frequency sounds of the didgeridoo, handles the instrument and music equipment to create a wide range of sounds for THE YELLOW, spanning from ambient to dance music.
Yoshiaki Kuriyama, the master of a record bar, takes on the role of vocalist and guitarist. It was through a chance encounter with a didgeridoo player that THE YELLOW was formed during sessions, becoming an official unit in 2023. Their unique sound, born from improvisation, seamlessly connects with the audience, transcending boundaries and becoming something universal.
