The Department of Engineering Education (EED) at The Ohio State University advances the engineering profession and enables student success by developing and delivering state-of-the-art, innovative, multidisciplinary engineering courses and programs; by modeling and advocating scholarly, evidence-based teaching within the College of Engineering; and by integrating pedagogical discovery, practice, and dissemination through world-class engineering education research. The EED provides academic, personal, and professional activities that are designed to supplement the undergraduate experience both inside and outside the classroom. In addition, the EED creates new courses and strengthens existing ones to ensure that students are well prepared for the ever-changing global employment environment.
