The Spiritual Studies Course is a 4-year long project to explore both individual and interconnected spiritual traditions throughout the expanse of human history. It seeks to do so in a sober and honoring fashion.
About the Instructor: Academically speaking, I began my secondary education studying philosophy, culture, and language at university in Athens, Greece. I completed my bachelors and MFA back in the states. Though my degrees spanned the humanities at large, my academic publications and conference presentations were always grounded in comparative religion, poetics, and/or historical, cultural analysis.
More personably speaking, I've held leadership roles in sanghas, a non-denominational pagan sanctuary, and then the crowning achievement as a Director of Religious Education for a Unitarian Universalist fellowship. While formal education has certainly assisted my acumen, my independent study and passion for the subject bleeds all the way back into my formative years.
