Jenny & the Scallywags are one of the best English language indie bands based in Bangkok. The band formed in late 2015 and won the regional Project Aloft Star amplified by MTV competition immediately after, representing Thailand and winning ahead of over 200 bands from around ASEAN. Since then, the band has enjoyed plaudits from every corner of Bangkok’s indie music scene with their debut, self-titled EP which has been widely acclaimed, the debut single “Sounds Like Maybe” charting #1 on Thailand’s Cat Radio, the country’s largest indie music station. The band has collaborated with other indie stars like Phum Viphurit, played large stages and festivals around the country and recently enjoyed a Vietnam tour with packed venues.
