Rafi, the Turtle

This is Rafi. He is a male Red Eared slider, born in November 2015. He spends most of his days swimming, basking, and rearranging his aquarium. He is most active between 7AM-9PM with little naps here and there. He is currently started a shed, so his color is pale right now. The males have long front claws/nails and a thicker tail. These turtles tend to live longer in captivity because they are an invasive species and are always competing with native species for territory and food in the wild.
