Krzysztof Szumanski is considered one of the most distinguished Polish baritones of his generation. In the current season he will appear as Nabucco in Verdi’s Nabucco, Escamillo in Carmen, Scarpia in Tosca and Stolnik in Halka by Stanislaw Moniuszko at the National Opera House in Warsaw – Teatr Wielki. He will also appear as Alfio in Cavaleria Rusticana in Estonia, as Escamillo in Grand Theatre Poznan and perform in song recitals as part of the Szumanski/Dimkovic duo.
