Doctors who heal the music sufferers, mission and passion in the name of a band. “Docs in Jazz” is the medical group par excellence. The members are all from Rome: Giuseppe Teofili on piano (freelance dentist), Giacomo Olivi on bass (Odontostomatologist Osp. San Camillo), Salvatore Cisternino on alto sax (Radiologist Osp. San Camillo), Marco Verrecchia on sax (Obstetrician Osp. San Filippo Neri), Silvia Giuliani on drums (Interventional radiologist Osp. San Camillo), accompany the fantastic voice of Karen Smith. The conception of the band dates back to 2013, when five esteemed Roman hospital doctors and freelancers, musicians passionate about jazz, founded the group, with the aim of cultivating their passion and passing it on to the circle of acquaintances.
