Goddy WAN also well known as HiphopPriest is an emerging young Ghanaian hip-hop artist with immense musical talent. From a small town in Ghana, West Africa. Goddy Wan can simply be described as a Revolutionist and a Non-Conformist, most of his songs challenge the status quo and the system to reevaluate some deceptive norms we have inculcated in our beliefs. The young artiste got into music to be an instrument for change and to be the voice for the voiceless and the vulnerable in society as a result he has the nickname “The Hip-Hop Priest”. The musician chose music ahead of becoming a lawyer because he believed music would have a better impact in his humanitarian quest to fight for the vulnerable than becoming a lawyer.
