I Farm Ugly

My name is Rob and I operate a family farm in south central IL with my wife. We raise corn and soybeans and have 60 beef cows. It's just the 2 of us running this farm. My wife runs the combine in the fall, helps with cattle when I need a hand and does all our bookkeeping. Occasionally we have someone help chisel plow in the fall after harvest. Other than that it's just me working by myself day in and day out to keep things going. I seem to get into some interesting situations just doing my work. All 3 of our daughters helped us on the farm when they lived at home. 1 daughter takes a week's vacation in the spring and fall to help in the fields. My brother and sister also like chipping in working when they come to visit. I enjoy and appreciate their help.
