Who wouldn’t love a wall of heavy modern rock, just with a twist of 90’s grunge? That’s what you get hit with when you hear Rise of Division —Dichotomy, the debut album, is a musical fusion blending catchy melodic vocals and intense heavy riffs. “My lyrics often reference “you” and “me”, “me” acting as my true self or being, and “you” referencing my inner “demons” and false self; fear and ego. I have themed a great portion of my music around this idea, and dichotomy is heavily influenced by this thought” says frontman Jeffrey Copoc. Hailing from Brantford, ON Canada, the band aims to take over the Southern Ontario rock scene and revive it from the dead. Rise of Division, inspired by a previous band split, is a fitting name with the current state of the world in 2020.
