Created at the dawn of a new millenium, Sounder were formed in early 2000 from the ashes of various South Coast bands. Drawing inspiration from an ecclectic mix of influences from Zappa to Orwell via Python and Madchester, Sounder brought their unique sound to the masses culminating in the critically acclaimed SunWorshipper EP and 2003 London Astoria gig. Despite various members of the band pursing alternative projects, the doors were always left ajar for a possible reunion when the time was right...... ...well, that time has come....after a meeting of minds, intense contract negotiations, a dispute over Justin Bieber's image rights and some fine wines Sounder are back kids ! A little older, not much wiser, they definitely still have it and are about to remind everyone what it is. Sounder - Reunited, reformed, resurrected 2014. ...........to be continued
