Dominick Lee is a talented, Emmy award-winning multimedia specialist working as a professional practice professor at the University of Missouri's School of Journalism. Lee specializes in video production techniques with artistic and compositional editing styles. He’s passionate about creating graphically transformative, visual elements utilizing digital platforms. Before coming to the J-school, Lee was a special projects photographer and video editor for the morning show at ABC’s The Denver Channel, located in downtown Denver. Formerly, Lee worked as a photojournalist and editor for NBC News Channel 3 in Las Vegas. His early career began as Chief Photographer for ABC 17 News in Columbia, Missouri. Lee holds a collective of Emmy nominations and is a multiple-time Edward R. Murrow Award recipient. Besides working as an evening managing editor in the KOMU 8 Newsroom, Lee is also FAA certified drone pilot and teacher of the University of Missouri’s Drone Journalism program.
