Ronald Ssemaganda is a Ugandan multi disciplinary performing artist based in Kampala. In 2006, he joined Sosolya Undugu Dance Academy where he got exposed to music and dance from different traditional cultures from Uganda and around the world. He plays different instruments and percussions including the Adungu, Akogo, Omulele (african Flute), Guitar and Xylophones. He made his first international debut in 2017 while on tour in Germany including major music festivals like Lollapalooza Berlin, Afrika Kulturtage Forchheim, Laut und Luise Fusion Festival and later on performances in Uganda, Somalia, Tanzania, South Africa, Rwanda and Denmark followed. In 2022 he performed with a collection of artists from different parts of the world at Bayimba International Festival of the Arts under the musical project Ethno. Ssemaganda is the Lead singer and a music producer of RA256, an electronic Dj and producer duo and Band ‘RA256 & Ruzungu
