The CCNY Planetarium is one of the hidden gems of the City College of New York. Originally built and opened in the early 70's with the construction of the Marshak Science Building, it has seen many years of active use a community resource. We are currently reviving it with some new projection technology and some much needed upgrades. We currently host shows for CCNY students, area k-12s, and other NYC groups. It's also used as a teaching space for astronomy classes, and can serve as a science visualization resource for all disciplines.
See our webpage for show times and more.
