Paul Zhao is a Los Angeles based pianist, composer, and arranger. His original music coasts the crossroads of classical, indie folk, and contemporary jazz. Raised in the rolling hills of Kobe Japan, Paul strives to write in a way that reflects the waves that we ride in life.
Paul's vocabulary takes inspiration from contemporary and ambient jazz, learning from giants such as Shai Maestro, Gerald Clayton, MARO, as well as Joe Hisaishi and Emile Mosseri.
