Denver based ‘60s rock revivalists The Mañanas formed in 2019 when lead singer and guitarist
Brandon Unpingco befriended producer and drummer Danny Pauta. The duo quickly began
turning heads in Denver, bringing a compelling multicultural perspective to the local rock and roll
scene.
The Mañanas’ lively melodies and sunny instrumentals are underscored by a cryptic lyrical
sensitivity. It is this exchange between language and sound that threads together the band’s
dynamic repertoire, which includes doo wop, power pop, surf rock, latin, and indie garage rock.
Their uncompromising DIY approach has led them to open for acts such as Thee Sacred Souls,
The Lemon Twigs, Black Lips, The Damned and more.
Following their debut EP “Cheers” (2021) and album “3000” (2023), The Mañanas are set to
release their third album in the fall of 2026.
The band will be entering this next evolution with the
addition of bassist Jessica Pulido and guitarist Eliza Neiman-Golden
