Born Solomon Junior Kalu on June 26, 2004, in Fiji and raised in the Solomon Islands, Yang Souljja is a Singer-Songwriter & Record Producer hailing from the Solomon Islands. His musical journey began in early 2020, with breakthrough single “Superstar” reaching # 3 on the Pacific Top 20 charts during the summer of that year. He made history as the first young 21 year old Solomon Islander featured in Billboard Magazine and to earn Grammy consideration, bringing Pacific music into the global spotlight. He has collaborated with artists such as Lepani, Genexis, Mi Santana, Yung Gin, Jammin, Amoray, Prince Coast, and ARL, expanding his reach within the Pacific music community. Notable tracks include “Heavenly,” “Nomuni Loloma,” and “You Na Best”. One of his most memorable career moments was performing at the 2023 Pacific Games, showcasing his talent on a significant regional platform. This highlighted his growing influence and solidified his status as a key figure in Pacific music.
