Wordy are a five piece band based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Born in October 2011 as a three piece acoustic collective, Wordy have evolved into a band of five members equipped with well written original material and polished cover songs. After meeting at Leeds University and playing various events in their first six month as a band, Wordy spent the summer of 2012 recording two EP's. The first, 'Wordy at Wordie's', consisting of three cover songs with innovative twists, was self recorded in Harringworth, Northamptonshire over two days in June 2012. The second, and original EP, a collection of four songs called 'Where's Wordy?', took the band into a new and relatively unknown dimension. All five members, with their own individual music tastes, fused their talent to create songs which show the bands capacity to move forward in the coming months.
