Melody Dawn is available for vocal work, all genres, (including 'spoken word' broadcasting and voice over support), all project support, and hooks, upon request. **Growing up in church & Hawaii, Melody Dawn had been involved in Gospel, Motown, Soul & Funk music. She signed with Universal Attractions of NY, being promoted as the "First White Female to Sing Soul & Funk". (A couple years before Teena Marie was known). Melody toured with Don Elliott, (opener for the Stylistics), landing a West Pac tour, including Singapore Hyatt Hotel. She was also honored to open in concert with the Maestro, "Barry White & the 'Love Unlimited Orchestra" for thousands of Malaysians. She opened with several top Funk & Soul cover tunes. Mr. White was a magician on his grand piano. Melody Dawn went on to play with other bands touring locally at her later home in CA. She has always been in high demand for weddings, parties, church programs, youth rallies & concerts for the last 25+ years. [email protected]
