LNP/BP stands for "Bitcoin Protocol / Lightning Network Protocol". LNP/BP Standards Association is a non-profit association that pursues the aim of managing research & development of standards and promoting their adoption for the fields covering: - important non-monetary aspects of bitcoin protocol, left outside of the scope of BIP standards; - lightning network protocol-related standards (so-called “Layer 2 solutions”); - and distributed/decentralised technologies built on top of them (so-called “Layer 3 solutions” and above layer 3). This channel is created to educate the audience on Bitcoin, Lightning and Privacy topics, and promote the development and adoption of Bitcoin L2/L3 technological standards.
