Founded in 2016 by Stanlee Ohikhuare, The Realtime International Film Festival (RTF) is an annual independent film festival that has attracted over 15000 participants since inception. The Film Festival was founded by and for independent filmmakers who seek to express themselves through the showcase of the mastery of their craft - from story-telling to technical expertise; all captured within a Creative package. The festival has had seven successful editions, and has been currently hyped as one of the Top 100 Best Reviewed Festivals on the global festival platform called Filmfreeway where it has a five-star rating by filmmakers from over 80 countries who have taken part in the festival through the years. RTF represents the democratization of the film space, and has championed the use of technology in executing remotely accessible events right from its first edition in 2016, when the concept of remote participation wasn’t yet a thing.
