Mindset was formed in 2018, when lead singer Or Berger and guitarist Ofek Azaria, who were already making music together, were joined by bass player Uriel Ben-Ezra and drummer Meitar Elazary. They shared some similar influences of old-school rock bands and a similar vision for sound, and managed to nail that 90's feel accurately. It shouldn't come as a surprise then, that their debut album was recorded DIY, in a shared apartment studio (since garages aren't a thing in Israel). Produced & recorded by Nir Perelman, the songs were then sent for mastering at Tim Turan's studios in the UK.
