Jaycee (born Shonubi Olanrewaju Joshua) is a Nigerian recording artist, songwriter, and performer signed to GOODY GOODY RECORDS. Born on 23rd April in Lagos, Nigeria, Jaycee was brought up in the suburbs of Lagos where he gained interest in singing. Motivated to express his talent to the masses Jaycee joined the choir where he and his friend managed to put together a teenage boy band named JAMEX which consisted of him and hisfriends of the musical interest. Jaycee and JAYMEX managed to release two singles; Jolly and Jofunmi, which they have since performed in a number of occasions. But his journey was only just warming up, for Jaycee exposure has always been his aim, even as a musician he somehow managed to get time and Deejay's (Disc Jockey) not just for somehow managed to get time and Deejay's (Disc Jockey) not just for the love of music but also to gain a little change.
