The Uyghur Solidarity Campaign is standing in solidarity with the Uyghurs and other peoples of East Turkestan ("Xinjiang") in northwest China, against the horrific persecution inflicted on them by the Chinese state. We demand: - Close the concentration camps! One to three million Uyghurs and other ethnic minority peoples are interned in these camps for "re-education". - Stop the surveillance, torture and killing! China is ruling East Turkestan as a brutal, racist police state. - Return the Uyghur children taken from their families! Children have been separated from their communities for forced assimilation. Currently we are protesting on the 5th of every month at 6pm, outside the Chinese Embassy on Portland Place in London. Join our protests, spread the word, and get in touch.
