This site is devoted to alternative reflections on heavy metal and hard rock.
Each essay has an overall theme that relates to heavy metal/hard rock.
In building each of my arguments, I make liberal reference to both well-known and more obscure heavy bands; examples include Metallica, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Megadeth, Venom, Celtic Frost, Slayer, Mayhem, Emperor, Dream Theater, etc. etc..
The essays are presented via YouTube, but I encourage anyone interested in these themes to read the text versions for added clarity (available from my website).
While these essays are perhaps quasi-academic in the sense that an overall thesis is developed and hopefully defended adequately, I have forgone extensive referencing as these are opinion pieces used solely to entertain (ideally) and bolster discussion on these matters.
Feel free to question anything I am saying and provide feedback if desired.
