Article 9 is a channel to showcase my songwriting, where I post my latest music videos. All the words and music for the songs is written, and all the instruments played by me. The vocals are provided by a range of talented musicians who are much better at singing than I am! But why Article 9 I hear you ask. I have a couple of reasons for choosing this as my channel name. The first is that Article 9 of the European Convention on Human Rights provides a right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion… Not a bad thing to be associated with. The second is that Article 9 of the Japanese Constitution is a clause in the national Constitution of Japan outlawing war as a means to settle international disputes involving the state. Music has great power to heal things, bring people together and spread happiness. So I like these associations. I just hope you like the music! Please Like, comment and subscribe if you enjoy it.
