This special My First Skool’s COVID-19 Learn & Share YouTube channel provides learning resources for our parents to engage children, as you stay home for your safety during this circuit breaker month. We know that parents need support to engage your children during this period. There are no clean answers but this is a good time, for us to find out what works. It is not practical to have our young children sit in front of the computers or do something for more than two hours. “Stay-home learning” can be learnt from building things, playing games, cooking/baking, gardening, songs/dance & the like. We can imagine the time it takes to supervise these learning sessions but such moments offer invaluable opportunities for parents to better understand & bond well with their children. As the situation continues to evolve, & during the upcoming weeks of this preschool circuit-breaker closure month, new resources will be added & existing resources updated to reflect the changing contexts.
