Hi! I'm Vanessa, but you can call me Ness. I've been a professional illustrator since 2015, working first in picture books and now in surface design. I give art business tips, industry secrets and career advice to help you become a professional illustrator! Positioning yourself, building a kickass portfolio, finding clients, negotiating contracts, finding an agent (etc!) can all be very overwhelming and confusing, especially since there is so little information available out there on these topics. I receive emails and DMs asking me how to become a professional illustrator almost daily, and I love to help so I usually spend several hours each week answering questions.
