Muhammad Abdullah (professionally known as Rafay Kashmiri) is a Pakistani rapper, singer, social activist and theatre artist. He is frequently referred to by the media as the “Nicki Minaj of Pakistan.” Rafay began his career in 2016 with a debut video on YouTube. At the age of twenty, he transitioned to music streaming platforms, where he currently has a catalogue of more than 30 songs and two studio albums: Raf’s Tale: Nothing Like Me (Reloaded) and ICON. He has performed at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Pakistan American Cultural Center (PACC), and Beach Luxury Hotel. Journalist Asma titled him the “Smita Patil of Karachi.” Rafay cites Cher, Celine Dion, Verka Serduchka, and Nicki Minaj as his artistic influences. He has received public admiration from several notable personalities, including Momina Mustehsan, Shehla Raza, Ahmed Ali Butt, Hina Dilpazeer, Sabin Saif, Hafsa Rafiq, Saqib Malik, and Tapu Javeri.
