David Ashcom is the Director for The Bridge, Cambridge High School’s weekly morning show. He has formerly served as Sr. Sports Producer, Sports Anchor, and Sr. Managing Editor for the program.
David’s video production experience dates back to his elementary school days in which he co-wrote and directed a short film, John’s Wish, which he submitted to a state technology fair. Since then, he has written and produced numerous short videos, primarily to his multiple YouTube channels. He has amassed over 180,000 views on his videos.
He has expertise in Final Cut Pro X and is developing his skills in Motion 5. David is currently co-directing a documentary on his high school’s football team.
David intends to attend college next year where he will study business and media communications, with the hope of starting his own production company in the future.
