Formed in the fall of 2009, Kill the Broadcast has been gaining on the regional scene, racking up live gigs that span the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia areas. The band's unique sound and lyrical depth stems from the diverse musical interests of its members, whose stylistic influences include the post punk sounds of Richard Hell and the Voidoids, the raw genius of Led Zeppelin, the manic energy of At The Drive In, the elegant and progressive nature of Radiohead and the pop sensibilities of R.E.M.
