HUGE Theater is the only venue in the Twin Cities devoted exclusively to teaching and presenting long-form improvisation — the art of creating an entire show in the moment, often from a single audience suggestion.
HUGE is proud to be host to over 500 shows and 600 students per year, and an ever-growing, ever-diversifying community of performers and enthusiasts. We are also host to improv festivals such as The Twin Cities Improv Festival, The Black and Funny Improv Festival, and The Tiny Funny Fest. We believe firmly that improv should be theater for everyone, regardless of race, gender, orientation, disability status, or background, and we are working hard and constantly to live up to that ideal.
